The Anglotopia Podcast has reached a major milestone: 100 episodes. What began as a passion project by publishers Jonathan and Jacqueline Thomas has grown into one of the most listened-to shows for Anglophiles anywhere, and its 100th episode marks a moment worth celebrating.
For the milestone episode, the Thomases had originally planned a listener Q&A — but a bigger opportunity arose that felt more fitting for the occasion. Episode 100, “Britain, America & Chicago,” features a conversation with His Majesty’s Consul General Richard Hyde on the ties between Britain and the United States. A Growing Audience
Across 100 episodes, the Anglotopia Podcast has taken listeners deep into British history, culture, travel, television, and tradition — from Stonehenge and folk horror to British Christmas television, genealogy, and the story of Winston Churchill and Eisenhower. Episodes typically run 45 to 60 minutes and are hosted by Jonathan and Jacqueline Thomas, the team behind Anglotopia.net and Londontopia.net.
The show now reaches a truly international audience across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, with more than 2.5 million views on YouTube in addition to its podcast listenership, clocking in at over 50,000 downloads so far. It has become a cornerstone of the Anglotopia brand and a direct connection to the community of Anglophiles the company has served since 2007.
What’s Next
